TEACHING

Ciara Phillips is currently a Professor at The Art Academy, Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Bergen. Previously, she has been a Visiting Professor at UniArts, Helsinki (2020), and has worked as a Lecturer and Associate Lecturer at Glasgow School of Art (2012 - 2015), and at the University of Cumbria (2005 - 2009).

Phillips has been a guest lecturer/visiting artist at: Newcastle University; The Ruskin School of Art, Oxford; Chelsea College of Arts, London; Parsons, New York; Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin; International Summer Academy, Salzburg; Temple Bar Gallery + Artists Studios, Dublin; Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada; Mejan, Stockholm; Island Mountain Arts, Wells, Canada; Kunst- og Designhøgskolan, Bergen; Edinburgh College of Art; HEAD, Geneva; Royal College of Art, London; NCAD, Dublin; Loughborough University; and Birmingham Institute of Art & Design.
